I'm based out of Portland, Oregon, U.S., where I reside with my husband and our two kids. My experience as a woman who came of age in the 1990's greatly influences my work. I'm inspired by the combination of vintage and futuristic aesthetics, and I like to combine these juxtaposing styles and techniques. As a kid, I spent lots of time hanging out on jobsites, due to my dad's and stepmom's work as an architect and contractor focused on rehab building, and as a result I have an engrained love for creating something new from something old. I use traditional drawing and painting techniques in a digital format, bringing my traditional training through a modern lens. I'm motivated by storytelling and world building. I always try to create an implied history, dynamic characters, and authentic settings in my work.
