I am a Syrian-born artist, scientist and designer based in London. My practice moves across painting, drawing and jewellery, shaped by an ongoing interest in memory, migration, biology and the natural world. With an academic background in biotechnology and stem cell and regenerative therapies, I also draw inspiration from biology, botany and organic form.


My work is largely figurative and often centres on women, recurring symbols and objects such as clocks, shells, birds and gold. I am interested in memory, transformation, desire, loss and time, and in the tension between beauty and decay, intimacy and distance.
