Exhibition Drawing

An Endless River

In his debut solo exhibition at Alliance Française de Lagos, Osaji Chinedu George constructs a sanctuary of memory and dreams to explore lessons forgotten and learned across lifetimes.

Rooted in the symbolism of the Niger Delta’s ancestral Ubulu tree, “An Endless River” meditates on generational grief, reincarnation, and familial narratives that occupy space over time.

Through layered charcoal drawings and surreal video art balancing vulnerability and resilience, the exhibition presents a compelling study on how ancestral history, grief, and identity continuously shape-shift rather than fade, inviting viewers to witness an ongoing cycle of human transformation and quiet endurance.
