My practice explores migration, identity, memory and the relationship between cultural heritage and imagined worlds. Drawing on Persian miniature painting, traditional carpet patterns and contemporary visual culture, I create colourful, densely populated compositions in which human, animal and symbolic forms coexist. Through intricate details, playful characters and layered narratives, my work brings together references to the past and visions of alternative worlds, reflecting on how we understand our place in a changing world.
