I am a contemporary abstract artist based in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. My journey with painting has developed slowly and naturally. I come from a background in civil engineering, so I have always been familiar with structure, space, balance and form. But painting gave me a different way of looking at these things. It allowed me to move away from planning and calculation and explore something more intuitive and personal.

My work is mainly about memory and emotions. I often think about how our experiences stay with us even when we are no longer thinking about them. Some memories remain very clear, while others become unclear, change with time, or become connected to completely different moments. A person, a place, a feeling or a small experience from the past can sometimes return unexpectedly.
