Much of my work focuses on conceiving images through the description of possible
complementary opposites, approaching them from the perspective of mixed media and concepts (violence as spectacle), exploring how sensations can be evoked and contemplated through the dot, the line, materiality, and the process of construction, while constantly questioning the idea of chance, drift, extinction, and trace.
The craft of creating images through the filter of my hands, in the role of an observer, compels me to pay much closer attention to what the gaze conveys, to the subtle details; each stroke is a piece of reality filtered through thoughts, words, and sensations that I attempt to decipher and deposit onto the surface through blocks of color and textures.
