ID-entities is a photographic series exploring identity, social roles, the desire to be seen, the demands that society impose on us, and the question of who we really are. Using masks, costumes, props, and constructed environments, the series places anonymous figures in situations drawn from everyday life, relationships, rituals, and social conventions.
Across the series, humour, vulnerability, desire, and absurdity coexist. ID-entities considers the mask not simply as something that hides us, but as something that can reveal the identities, fantasies, and the fluidity of social roles that we are constantly navigating.
