Many of these photos aren’t inherently beautiful. Their beauty is revealed in the stillness they offer the onlooker. When I stumbled upon these scenes, I heard no sounds and didn’t think about their futures. They broke my routine while walking to work or while running errands. Even if it was just an extended glance and click of my camera, it was unbeknownst to me that I would appreciate them. Traveling is inspiring and lends itself opportunities to take amazing pictures. However, I’ve learned you don’t need to travel that far to capture a unique photo. Often, the best photos are in the nooks and crannies of your neighbourhood. I hope you can appreciate these images too and find a moment to pause. Perhaps, you will walk to the grocery store later and see an incredibly unusual, peaceful or hilarious image that makes you stop
