There are 350.000 kinds of plants in the world. 80% live in water; 28000 are used for medicine; 17 plant families provide 80% of our food – and plants produce our oxygen, while eating co2. So, plants are worth understanding. To do that, you must break some codes: a strawberry is a nut, a walnut is a stone fruit, a tomato is a berry and an onion is a flower.
Plants are worth understanding. And taking care of. But 1/5 of all plants are becoming extinct due to climate change, invasive species & urbanization.
That is why we are botanical designers. We use our art to spread the wonders of plants and knowledge of human’s dependency on plants..
