Genre Sun is an internationally recognized illustrator, awarded Category Winner at the World Illustration Awards (WIA) 2025, with works also selected and shortlisted by the Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, 3x3 Magazine, and Tokyo Type Directors Club.

This is a personal project created to express my thoughts and experiences. It was not commissioned or used commercially but serves as a visual exploration of personality differences and mutual understanding.

My husband and I often argue over different perspectives, but I eventually realized that our personality differences mean we aren’t even debating the same thing. This inspired me to create this series—to show him my world is different from his and to remind us both to be patient and understanding.
