With a view to portraying the influences of both Urban Contemporary Art and the traditional use of Oriental ink, the artist has camouflaged English slogans as Chinese characters — the ink patterns mimicking that of the tiger’s stripes — but the characters remain rooted as a Spirit Animal, representing Willpower, Courage, and Personal Strength.
