This collection of illustrations follows the story of a little cat and its owner as they travel through Mexico City, Jiufen in Taiwan, Mount Fuji and Uji in Japan, and Antwerp in Belgium. Magical places that leave me feeling both nostalgic and restless.
Mexico City is home. It holds my most nostalgic memories, the place my mind always returns to.
Mount Fuji gave me a kind of peace that you can only feel at night, the streets are empty and you get to enjoy the silence of being somewhere new.
In Uji, I dreamed of the person I might have become if I had been born there. Quiet days by the river and beautiful walks.
In Jiufen, I felt like I had stepped into a film. Its people and streets took me out of reality in a way I haven't experienced since.
Antwerp is my home now. Where a wonderful new chapter begun.
