I make illustrations inspired by cities, nostalgia and cats. When I think of the past, I often remember little things like the way the light was shinning through the window, or how the sun was creating funny shadows on the pavement.
As an immigrant living abroad, it is not easy to build something from scratch. But I just can’t see myself doing anything else. I love living inside the universe of my illustrations. Obsessed with not forgetting, I use my own memories as a stencil. Easy sundays. Little walks in a city that’s not your own. The process of making a new place your home. The slow days when nothing really happens but that I’ll romanticise forever.
