My imagination is a leading driving force in my life and influences me on almost everything I do. It has always been the most natural and easiest way for me to express myself. When I paint surrealistic characters I like to focus on the details of their exaggerated eyes so the viewer can learn about the inner status and feel the emotions of the character. From an early age, I have found art fascinating and liberating. Painting allows me to transform images in my mind into something tangible. From the anxiety and excitement of coming to America, to finding calm in fulfillment later in life, my paintings tend to mirror my inner feelings and thoughts.
