Démasquées explores the paradox of a mask that reveals rather than conceals. For more than a decade, I have invited women into an intimate creative encounter, drawing directly onto their skin with an intuitive, evolving language of signs, symbols, silhouettes and lines. The painted body becomes a space of transformation; black-and-white portraits capture not a fixed identity, but a singular presence, at once powerful and vulnerable. Rooted in dialogue and trust, the project celebrates the plurality of femininity without prescribing how it should be seen. Gathered in a 240-page art book, these encounters continue beyond the image through the voices of the women themselves, in a podcast and companion mobile app. Démasquées is an invitation to look beyond appearances, to make room for what is felt but rarely seen.
