My work explores identity, memory, and the psychological dimensions of experience through figurative art. Using the figure as a point of departure, I examine how emotions and lived experiences shape our sense of self. Working primarily with charcoal, I use expressive marks, fragmentation, and distortion to create figures that emerge, dissolve, and reassemble. I am expanding my practice through acrylic and oil paints, exploring color, texture, and fluidity. Moving between dry and fluid media, I investigate presence and absence, control and spontaneity. Through these materials, I seek to make the invisible visible and invite viewers to recognize themselves within the figures I create.
