'Desert Tropical' is an ongoing series by Australian visual artist and photographer Habitat Legit. He began producing collages and visual work around 2014 with recent inspiration drawn from the mid century modern architecture and desert landscapes of southern California. Not one to shy from colour, his process begins with photographing textured walls, nature and quirky details where it’s then arranged digitally to produce surreal desert settings that explore a sense of escapism.
