Sasha Lebedeva is a Russian photographer and filmmaker based in Venice, CA.
“dijon” is a series of photos all shot around LA that can be connected by one thing. They all feature color dijon, Sasha’s favorite color. All images bring melancholic nostalgic sense.
“When I moved to the US, I didn’t know anybody here. Photography was my mean of exploring unfamiliar territory as well as meet new people. I would message people I liked on Instagram to arrange a shoot hoping that maybe it would lead to friendship.”
