In Dirty Feet, I return to the landscapes of my childhood in Tuscany and its
surroundings, to spend the first summer with my son Diego. During that heartwarming time with family and friends, memories resurfaced — along with gestures and habits shared across generations.

At a time when much of life unfolds behind screens, Dirty Feet reimagines another rhythm — one that brings us back to nature, to presence, to the simple joy of being outside.

The series evokes summer as a space of freedom and lightness, distant from the rhythms the city. Through an intimate and direct gaze, I aim to document the simplicity of time spent outdoors.
Created with the hope of evoking feelings rather than telling a story, I invite you to sense — rather than interpret — the passing of a shared summer.
