Based in Philly and entirely self-taught, my work is a relentless pursuit of capturing people and things with hyper-realistic quality on paper via graphite and charcoal; to provide the viewer with that slight moment of doubt as to whether or not what they are seeing is a photograph or a drawing. I aim to express every microscopic detail of a subject with high fidelity quality that ultimately yields a product like that of a photograph. Working in cybersecurity by day, I still devote a substantial amount of time to my first love as a kid, art. I'm inspired by artists CJ Hendry, Emanuele Dascanio, and Jono Dry. I'm learning a ton along the way in terms of tools that work best for manipulating the graphite to achieve a desired result. I've always felt that art is therapy. It allows for an otherwise chatty mind to be still.
