My work explores imagined worlds where animals, people and landscapes coexist in shifting relationships. Drawing from Persian miniature painting, carpets and the visual language of storytelling, I create detailed acrylic paintings and textile works populated by hybrid creatures and symbolic environments. These worlds reflect ideas of migration, belonging, climate change, conflict, community and the possibility of coexistence. Rather than depicting a fixed reality, I build alternative landscapes that combine memories, cultural references and observations of the world around me. Through colour, pattern and playful imagery, the work considers how we might imagine different ways of living together.
