Wild Tales explores growing up through the metaphor of life as a “jungle.” Inspired by fairy tales and fables, Ece Ağırtmış builds narratives through animal figures instead of human characters. These animals reflect experiences of adulthood such as entering work life, competition, survival, and belonging. Beneath the playful surfaces of the works lie the hidden traps and complexities of growing up. The exhibition invites viewers to reflect on their own “jungle” and the dual nature of adulthood.
