Echo World is a growing body of work born from my own self-doubt. While working as a designer, I began drawing Echo as a way to separate the voice telling me I wasn’t good enough from what I actually believed about myself. That voice became a character, and eventually, a world. Through painting, ceramics, sculpture and installation, Echo explores the conversations we have with ourselves—fear, ambition, innocence, loneliness, connection and becoming. Recurring characters embody different parts of that experience: Balloon holds the fragile things we protect, while figures like Witness, Alex and The Weight explore observation, guidance and what we carry. Echo World turns an internal dialogue into something physical, allowing viewers to recognize pieces of themselves within it.
