My name is Finley Elder and I am a multi-media artist based in New Zealand. In my work I mainly create illustrations inspired by how things work such as engineering, nature, history and folklore too. I take an experimental approach to creating characters , adding lines and colour that brings contrast and texture to the attention of the eyes. The experiments also help pinpoint what to further dive into, what story will unfold and allow the audience to feel a part of the work presented.
