Ether Ore explores the dynamic equilibrium of nature, navigating the tension between movement and stillness that allows seemingly chaotic forms to exist in harmony. Drawing from my background in environmental photography and motion graphics, the works combine plants, geology, and landscapes into ecosystems where an organic framework seems to regulate a synthetic transformation. My process begins with my own photographs of remote environments, which I digitally manipulate, print, rescan, and rework through AI. This physical and digital feedback loop allows familiar forms to shift through layers of interpretation, introducing both intention and chance into the image. The title Ether Ore describes a space between the tangible and intangible, where nature, memory, evolution, and computation converge.
