Exoskeletons explores the protective layers we build around our inner child. My characters inhabit animal exoskeletons, borrowing each animal’s instincts and qualities as a source of safety. Their porcelain-like faces and reflective eyes reveal the vulnerability held within. Above each shell, a living moss crown symbolises quiet, persistent growth: strength forming softly beneath the layers that protect us. Through these figures, I explore the relationship between vulnerability and resilience, and how we continue to grow while carrying the parts of ourselves that still need shelter.
