Jam Dong is a freelance illustrator in Boston, US. She graduated from Maryland Institue College of Art in 2021 and has been making illustrations and children's books ever since.
Her works feature bright colors and dynamic shapes. Though working digitally, textures are applied to get a sense of printmaking. Inspired by Polish matchbox labels, the flatness and simplicity is something she has been testing around. She works with a wide range of subjects but always tries to capture the eureka moment in mundane life and present a piece of humor in a quirky way.
