After completing his MA in animation at the Royal College of Art, London, Alex Bernas moved to Los Angeles at the tail-end of 2017, with the hope of breaking into storyboarding for television. After a slow start, he took it upon himself to create a piece of animation that would hopefully make the studios take notice of him. Alex storyboarded, designed, animated, coloured and composited the 30-second short over a couple of months, all while working as an animator for clients such as Buck LA and Partizan Animation.
