Seb Black (he/him) is a queer trans fashion artist and illustrator specialising in expressive, gestural artwork inspired by the fluid movement and energy of fashion runways. He works in mixed media to explore subverted silhouettes, avant-garde menswear, and gender-fluid fashion across commercial campaigns and projects, luxury events, and fine art exhibitions.
He’s recently worked with the British Fashion Council for London Fashion Week, Brunello Cucinelli, Burberry, and Perrier. He was a FIDA Worldwide Fashion Illustration Awards Finalist, receiving a Commendation with Special Mention.
Seb has exhibited his work nationally in Victoria and Toronto, Canada, including his solo show ‘Never Mind, Darling’ with the Ministry of Casual Living. His exhibited work often focuses on queer themes.
