Inspired by Derain and Matisse and the fauvist art movement this series entitled - Fauvist Landscapes offer a contemporary view of Fauvism with shapely landscapes that sing with colour. Initially started during the winter months, the series quickly became a constant practice that I love to paint! In the midst of brown, barren landscapes and heatwaves, the need for injecting lots of colour has only increased!
