Photography in China is often praised for “oil-painting texture,” while painters pursue photographic realism—showing how the two mediums merge. Using flowers and multiple exposure, I let light and color create painterly depth. Drawing on Chinese aesthetics, where warm and cool tones embody elements and qi, these works convey shifting emotions and affirm my deep love for photography.
