Submission Drawing

for what i see

From spring to the summer this year, I worked on these pieces trying to convey how my immediate environment was affecting my friends and people I see in public transit. The colors I use are for intensity, but also to act as a reflection of the physical world. By combining different shades of the same color, I was able to create a texture that resembles the landscape or environment I am showing. This texture adds an additional layer of complexity to my work and allows me to create a more immersive experience for the viewer. In the pieces I sent, I explore the concept of exhaustion and the ways in which it can manifest. I often use bold colors to depict feelings of frustration, anger, and despair. My goal is to capture the full range of human emotion, from the depths of despair to the heights of joy with the use of color.
