I needed silence.
Something that made me feel part of the world without having to explain myself: a space to observe, to stay, to recognize myself in the most anonymous and taken-for-granted details.
The world I know began to seem invented.
As if something had altered the rules of reality while I wasn’t looking.
And I thought that maybe photography could help me document this crack.
Not to understand, but to remain in listening.
To gather the wonder that appears when habit breaks.
In these color images, I collected fragments of an exploration. Fotosottocasa was born from that — from daily struggle and from a simple intuition: that mystery, sometimes, hides in the things we know too well.
