Rather than illustrating ancient narratives literally, Hasmik Chakhmakhchyan presents mythological figures as enduring archetypes shaped by memory, identity, power and transformation. Figurative forms coexist with symbolic and cosmological structures, allowing these figures to move beyond their original stories and enter a contemporary visual space. The series is ongoing.
