The Half Girl series is a body of photographic works that are printed and then hand-finished with acrylic paint, resulting in unique, one off artworks. This series marked my first exploration into painting and mark-making over photographic prints. Through washes of blues, greens, and oranges that loosely divide the image in two, the colours purposefully evoke natural elements such as oceans, hills, and the sun.
