Innovation is the antidote to my restlessness. Finding new ways of approaching a situation allows me to understand my relation to it more acutely. I've subscribed to this idea by working with collage, taking things out of their functional (rather, original) context, placing them in new ones. I've found that collage in particular lends itself as an ideal method of recontextualization; the results allow me to explore new meanings.
