Hesitation is a newer body of work. Using long exposures and subtle camera movements, I stretch light across atmospheres, dissolving the boundaries between sky, water, and land. These photographs emerge from a pause happening while the world continues on. They capture a moment of doubt that leaves everything briefly out of sync. The resulting images often resemble watercolor paintings, created only through the manipulation of light. They are landscapes formed through hesitation, invites the viewer into a slower and more contemplative way of seeing.

In addition to the exhibition, I would be interested in participating in related programming, including an artist talk, open studio, portfolio review, or conversation focused on surrealism, perception, and experimental approaches to photography.
