Still Lifes can express an incredible ammount. You just have to look carefully to see all the little details, and the hidden hints and messages. It was always this way and I use this tradition to comment on the state of the world today. How would the golden age depict product use today? What would the imperialist and capitalist world "brag" about today? Like they did with the still lifes of the 17th and 18th century?
I am also Integrating the robotic development in classical christian Ikonography, to explore the deep human desire to create it's own life like beings.
