As an illustrator making a living out of my work, I am always balancing between telling my own stories and telling a client’s story. I love both. Having to deal with a world that's being categorised and explained in every detail like everybody else, I am fascinated more and more by daydreaming and unexplainable feelings evoked by the natural world. A sense of wonder. For my own stories, I decided to learn how to make lino and woodblock prints about two years ago, a counterweight to the technology creeping into every corner of my daily life. It feels like learning a new language to tell these stories I don't feel like explaining to anyone.
