Hues of Identity (Teintes d’Identité)

Exhibited in Abidjan (Jan 21 – Feb 14, 2026), "Hues of Identity" is an act of poetic rebellion. I subvert the rigid codes of the administrative ID photo to transform it into a space of celebration. Here, the bureaucratic portrait fades before the soul; ancestral patterns and fabrics reclaim their rightful place.

My art is a bridge. I refuse to let modernity serve as an excuse for erasure. I prove that our roots and innovation can coexist without betrayal. Through these faces, I invite you on a journey toward pride. This project is my tribute to Ivorian diversity, a stand against uniformity and a cry for the preservation of our heritage. I do not merely capture images; I document our right to remain who we are.
