Taking pictures in my hometown, in Istanbul is a very unique and emotional experience for me. Turkey is a country geopolitically located in a very fragile place. Istanbul is a city that has experienced many misfortunes in the last two decades. The city welcomes new inhabitants, it changes and evolves a little every day. This series of black and white photos takes shape in a booklet and reveals my intimate view of the country's socio-political situation by making a very naive link to the daily life of Istanbul.
