My husband bought me this Pentax Optio underwater camera a few years ago as a birthday gift - he knows two of my favourite things are taking photos & being underwater, so it was the perfect combo. I pretty much have this camera on my wrist all summer - it has really become my fave! PEI has incredible beaches so there's no shortage of shoot locations. I love the distortion of the world seen through the water, the quality of the light, the silence when you're shooting under there. This shot was taken in a pool where I was shooting the underwater segment (on this same little powerhouse camera!) for a music video that featured a pool party.
