ILES is designed and made by Maja Górowska, Karolina Koryniowska and Kamila Potocka for a graduation project in Academy of Arts and Design in Wrocław, Poland.

ILES is a series of fifteen pieces of furniture for studio flats. The user can arrange them into various formations 'islands' and gain access to individual elements from different sides, while the form of the furniture define spatial areas. Designed for Millennials generation, the furniture was inspired by geometry and the organic shapes of stones. Its uniform colour is varied by textures and materials - lacquered steel, CDF, fabrics and epoxy resin combined with buckwheat - our own experimental material.
