I’m Still Learning How to Say Goodbye

I’m Still Learning How to Say Goodbye is a photo series shaped by grief, migration, and impermanence. Constantly moving across foreign lands, I once found belonging among others like me, yet the shifting immigration policies render our lives perpetually transitional. As my friends leave the US one by one, I document quiet moments of our connection, in shared apartments, stolen time in between days, the suspense in the air before a departure. These images reflect the emotional texture of diaspora—the coexistence of presence and absence, intimacy and distance embedded in everyday life.
