I am a Chinese-American photographer based in San Francisco. I use photography to help cope with CPTSD and a mood disorder. My work represents an extension of chronic dissociation and the challenges of living with trauma. Through my art, I hope to connect with others who share similar experiences and convey that they are not alone. I understand that this is a shared inner world that is difficult to describe. My ongoing series is an attempt to unravel and better understand it for myself, while dreaming of recovery and a return to a normal life.
