Inês Flor is a young illustrator, living in Viseu, Portugal. Her illustrations show a meticulous and time-consuming manual work. The drawing, made with ballpoint pen, presents us with a somewhat poetic and symbolic imagery, translated on paper in expressive blue tones. Cutouts and collages add fragile, spatial plasticity to images. As if, in some mysterious way, the drawings of Ines Flor had gained life and dimension and we had surprised them in the midst of this metamorphosis.
