My sculptures are depictions of unique personalities with individual narratives. The veristic modeling of each figure serves to portray the distinctive attributes of the subjects and display a potent emotional or psychological effect. Symbols, mannerisms and gestures all exist to provide each figure with independent agency, and objectification is averted as each subject asserts their personhood.
