David Nelson-Hospers is an American photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. His series "Knoxville, New Years Day" was created on the first day of the new decade. Through a turn of events, David ended up in Knoxville on New Years Day 2020, alone, with no plan besides a flight out the next morning. David took it as an opportunity to explore a new landscape and documented his 8 hour walk through the empty Tennessee streets.
