Krysalis is a collection of contemporary objects that draw upon the ceremonial act of donning armor, each piece invents a new strand of jewelry and creative expression.
Designed by 3D-mapping the geometry of the human body this collection blends artisanal craftsmanship and contemporary technology into a meaningful expression of individuality and elegance.
Throughout the design process my aim was to reference the anthropomorphic nature of design in a novel way: the utility of each piece is discovered through use rather than through pure observation. With this in mind the collection is wholly new in its aesthetic as well as its function.
