This ongoing project grounds my perception of a remote, wild and daunting place.
The nowadays unfamiliar experience of complete silence is only ruptured by the most natural sounds of birds, rivers or the wind. Oddly connected and raw. Opinionated. Uncontrollable and breathtaking. At night, the view into the dense woods, is just slightly less perceptive as it is during daytime, and even less soothing. I only reluctantly turn my back to it and yet I am drawn into it. Leaving this place always makes me want to return immediately.
